Perspective (n.) The sense of depth and spatial relationships between objects in an image. In mobile photography, perspective can be altered by changing the camera’s position or using different focal lengths. Wide-angle lenses can exaggerate perspective, making foreground objects appear larger, while telephoto lenses compress perspective, making distant objects appear closer together. Understanding and manipulating perspective allows mobile photographers to create more dynamic and visually interesting images.
