Remote Shutter

Remote Shutter (n.) A device or feature that allows the camera shutter to be triggered from a distance. In mobile photography, this can be achieved through wireless accessories like Bluetooth remotes, connected smartwatches, or even voice commands on some devices. Remote shutters are particularly useful for group shots, self-portraits, long exposures where any camera movement could cause blur, or situations where touching the phone might be impractical. Some camera apps also allow one smartphone to act as a remote shutter for another, expanding creative possibilities.
